Grefrather EC

Grefrather EC was an ice hockey team based in Grefrath, Germany. There were three incarnations of the team, Grefrather EC von 1969, which played from 1969-1992, Grefrather EV (1992-2001), and Grefrather EC 2001, which was active from 2001-2010.

The original incarnation of the team played mostly in the third-tier Oberliga, but did spend three seasons in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1989-1992. Grefrather EV played in the second and third tiers throughout their existence, and Grefrather EC 2001 competed in the Regionalliga and the NRW Verbandsliga.

Grefrather EG was formed as a successor club in 2010.
