The Sangliers Arvernes (official name: Clermont-Auvergne Hockey Club) were an ice hockey team in Clermont-Ferrand, France, which existed from 1972-2005.
History
The club made four appearances in the top-level French leagues, playing in the Elite League in 1992, the Super 16 from 2002-2004, and the Ligue Magnus in the 2004-05 season.
After a last place finish in the Ligue Magnus during the 2004-05 season, the club was set to be relegated to the FFHG Division 1. However, due to financial difficulties, they were forced to fold before the start of the next season. Hockey Clermont Communauté Auvergne was founded as a replacement squad in the city.
