The Chicago State Cougars were a men's collegiate hockey team representing Chicago State University in Chicago Illinois. The team was a member of the Central States Collegiate Hockey League and later the Illinois Collegiate Hockey League. The program was in existence at the varsity level from the 1972-73 season until the 1978-79 season. It was previously a club team from 1969-70 to 1971-72, and again played as one in 1979-80.
