Brighton Ambassadors

The Brighton Ambassadors were an ice hockey team in Brighton, England.

They were formed after the demise of the Brighton Tigers following the closure of their home arena, the Brighton Sports Stadium, in 1965.

The club was a "homeless" side as they did not have a rink to call theirs. The Ambassadors mostly played in national home tournaments.

In the Blackpool Icedrome Trophy, they were victorious in the preliminary round three years running from 1967-68 to 1969-70. The Ambassadors lost to the Blackpool Seagulls - who, as the tournament's host, received an automatic position - in the final in 1968 and 1969, but triumphed over them in 1970.
