The 2014 Larry van Wieren Cup was contested by the bottom teams in the top-level Eredivisie and the top clubs in the second tier Eerste Divisie.
The Dordrecht Lions of the Eredivisie withdrew from the tournament as they would not have profited financially and many of their imported players had departed for the off-season. The Eerste Divisie club, Hijs Hokij Den Haag II, declined to participated due to limited available ice time at their home venue.

Final
- Eindhoven Kemphanen - Geleen Eaters 9:0, 0:10 OT
Geleen incredibly overcame a 9-0 aggregate deficit after the first game, outscoring Eindhoven by an indentical 9-0 score in regulation and scoring the deciding goal in overtime to claim the tournament.
