The 2009 ECSL season was the eighth season of the East Coast Super League. Five teams participated in the league, and the Sting won the championship.

Playoffs
The Sting defeated the Penrith Raptors in the final to win the title. The Ice Breakers and the Newcastle North Stars lost in the semifinals.
