The 2009-10 Balkan League was the third season of the league. Five teams participated in the competition, which was won by Iraklis Thessaloniki.
The top four teams were originally slated to play in the semifinals. However, as the first place Greek team, Iraklis Thessaloniki, was unable to travel to Bulgaria for all the games, it was decided that they would qualify directly for the final with the other three teams playing in a round-robin qualification series.
