2008 Brazil Championship

The 2008 Brazilian Championship (Campeonato Brasileiro de Ice Hockey) was the inaugural edition of the competition. It was held on March 29, 2008, at the Eldorado Shopping Mall ice rink in Sao Paulo.

The tournament was organized by the Sao Paulo Ice Hockey Federation in collaboration with Capelle's Hockey School, managed by Alexander Capelle, who was a key figure in the development of the sport in Brazil in the 1980s.

The round-robin games lasted for 20 minutes while the third place and championship games were given a 30 minute time allotment.
