2007 Serbian Cup
The 2007 Serbian Cup was annulled prior to the final, scheduled to be played between HK Vojvodina and HK Novi Sad.
Although not explicitly stated in the regulations, the competition was intended to be played with reserve players, in order to give them additional game experience. Partizan Belgrade thus released their foreign imports, as the tournament was the season's final event. However, the club later learned that HK Vojvodina and HK Novi Sad wanted to utilize their top players in the tournament. Partizan then refused to play in their semifinal game against Vojvodina, which was awarded to the latter club on forfeit.
Ultimately, the final between HK Vojvodina and HK Novi Sad was not contested, as ice was no longer available at the SPENS Novi Sad rink. The competition was then annulled, with no winner being declared..
