The 1995-96 British Hockey League Division One season was the 14th and final season of the second-tier division of the British Hockey League. 14 teams participated in the league, and the Manchester Storm won the championship. The top six teams qualified for the promotion round to the Premier Division, which also featured the bottom two teams from the higher tier league.
