1990-91 Oberliga season

The 1990-91 Oberliga season was the 18th season of the league as the third level of ice hockey in Germany. SC Memmingen won the championship. Four teams were promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga.

Shortly before the start of the Oberliga North EHC Salzgitter withdrew. During the regular season EHV Wesel and EC Nordhorn went bankrupt after the 18th and 23rd rounds, respectively. All their matches were erased.

ESC Ahaus, who had qualified for the qualification for the 2. Bundesliga, renounced participation. The EC Diez-Limburg waived its right to participate in their place, so the sixth placed team, REV Bremerhaven, participated.
