The 1962–63 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for 1962-63. The league consisted of 81 teams, divided into four regions - north, west, east, and south. The groups were divided into "A" and "B" groupings, with the top team in each group advancing to the two promotion rounds. The top two teams from each promotion round earned a spot in the Swedish Division I.
