1956 Spanish Championship

The 1956 Spanish Championship was the fourth edition of the national ice hockey championship in Spain. The championship was held at the Pista del Valle del Santuario in Nuria on January 6 and 7, 1956. It was won by Club Alpino Nuria.

• Club Alpino Nuria roster: Lago Peñalara (GK), Jaime Viñas, Enrique Martorell, Wessel, Jorge Trías, Boronat, Rovira, Serra, Gomis, Puigbó. Three German players from Bad Tölz (Probst, Eberl, Bessel) played a few games for Nuria while vacationing in Spain. They were not part of the roster for the championship.

Catalonian Championship

• 2/26: Club Alpino Nuria - Escuelas Pias 7-2 - 3000 people attended the first game played on the Puigcerda Lake. It was part of a "Festival of Ice Sports".

Only three players from Nuria's first team (Viñas, Martorell and Gomis) participated in this match,. Among the reservists are Rubio and Riba, who scored a nice goal from the back.
