The 1956-57 Moscow Region Championship was won by Pavlovsky Posad.
In the Elektrostal region, a new club called Vanguard debuted. They had the following game results: Red Flag Kupavna - 19:2, Spartacus Noginsk - 5:3, Petrel Dulevo - 11:6 and Lena factory Pavlovsky Posad - 13:3.
