1955–56 Norwegian 1. Divisjon season
The 1955-56 Norwegian 1. Divisjon season was won by Sinsen, who defeated Høvik in the final. Both teams were promoted to the Hovedserien.
Former national team goaltender Per Dahl played for Høvik and was a significant contributor to their success.
