The 1953 Spanish Championship was the first edition of the national ice hockey championship in Spain since the 1920s. It was won by Club Atlético de Madrid. The competition was staged at the Hotel Puigmal in Nuria on February 20 and 21, 1953.

- 2/20: Club Alpino Nuria defeated Torb EC on forfeit
Final
- 2/21: Club Atlético de Madrid 13 - Club Alpino Nuria 0 (4-0, 6-0, 3-0)
The final started at 11 PM, and did not finish until 2:30 AM. Hassler scored most of the goals for Madrid.

The names of Arche is worth further study. Arche was either a son of one of the Spanish hockey pioneers in the 1920s, the three Arche brothers, or it was one of them who played.
