1946 German Ice Hockey Championship

The 1946 German Ice Hockey Championship consisted of four championships, the Bavarian Championship, Rhineland Championship, Bizone Championship and the "German Championship" in Munich. Both championships were unofficial, and there is no official German champion for 1946.

Bavarian Championship

A 16 team, single-elimination competition was organized.

Rhineland Championship

Krefelder EV won.

Bizone Championship

The father of hockey in Krefeld, Willi Münstermann, organized an unofficial championship in November, 1946. Subsequently, the event was declared the Inter-Zone Championship of the Bizone occupation area.

"German Championship" in Munich

On December 3, 1946, the newspaper Sportkurier reported on a German Championship contested in Munich.
