The 1943-44 OB I bajnokság season was the eighth season of the OB I bajnokság, the top level of ice hockey in Hungary. Five teams participated in the final round of the league, and BKE Budapest won the championship.

Participants: Szegedi KE, Orosházi TKE, Óbecsei Bocskai, Palicsi SK. The championship could not be played due to a lack of ice, so Palicsi SK (the previous years champion) was selected to play in the final round. They later withdrew.[1]
