1942 Newfoundland season

This was the 1942 ice hockey season in Newfoundland:

All-Newfoundland Championship

• 3/16: St. John's St. Bon's - Bell Island 11:4
• 3/17: St. John's St. Bon's - Bell Island 8:3

Nothing definite was heard from Buchans as to coming to play for the championship. They invited the winners of the St. John's-Bell Island series to come to Buchans, but St. Bon's could not make it, and the NAHA decided that unless Buchans came to play, the Herder Memorial Trophy series would be declared unfinished for 1942.
