1934-35 NWHL season
This was the 1934-35 season of the North West Hockey League. It was the second season of the league.
The Calgary Tigers were renamed the Calgary Consols.

Little World Series
This was named after the playoff series in baseball between the International League and American Association champions.
The Detroit Olympics had won the International Hockey League championship. They accepted an invitation to play a series in Vancouver against the Lions.
Both the Olympics and the Lions were reinforced. Most notably, Eddie Wiseman joined the Olympics from the Detroit Red Wings. Several players from the Portland and Seattle teams were added to the Lions.
