The 1933 Winter Universitaires were held in Bardonnechia, Italy. It was the first edition of the tournament.
Due to poor ice conditions, the tournament was forced to be halted partway through, and was later cancelled. Hungary, the only team to have gone undefeated, was recognized as champions.
