1933-34 California Hockey League season
This was the 1933-34 California Hockey League season. Three teams, all based in Los Angeles, competed in the league, and the Hollywood Millionaires won the championship. The local newspapers referred to the league as a professional competition.

College
The California Golden Bears, Loyola Lions, UCLA Bruins, Occidental Tigers, Los Angeles Junior College Cubs, and USC Trojans all fielded ice hockey teams this winter. USC went 11-3-1 on the season and won the Southern California Intercollegiate Hockey League title. The Los Angeles Junior College, which was not included in the SCIHL, set up a rival competition, the California Collegiate Hockey League.
