This was the 1932-33 ice hockey season in Estonia:

Overview

Prior to the winter of 1932-33, bandy had been the dominant sport in Estonia. In November 1932, Poland invited Estonian, Latvian and Finnish student teams to play in an ice hockey tournament in Warsaw, scheduled to be played in January. The invitation was declined, owing to a lack of players and finances.

The Eesti Akadeemline Spordiklubi (ASK) in Tartu was the first Estonian club to get into playing ice hockey. On February 26, 1933, the club organized an inter-club match between 11 players, five in Team A and six in Team B. The A team won the game, 1-0.

10 days later, Tartu ASK faced a team of German students in a match refereed by Herbert Niiler, the coach of the Estonian national basketball team, who had also played bandy in Estonia and ice hockey abroad.
