An excerpt from Peter Patton's 1936 Ice Hockey publication:

"It was a very fitting reward for Clarence Campbell that his team should win the Varsity match, though by such a small margin. Clarence Campbell was one of the very finest captains that Oxford ever had. As an appreciation of the great services he had rendered the club during the past two years, the members presented him with a suitably engraved miniature of the Anspang Cup. A committee of two was appointed to present him also with a miniature of the Patton Cup. R. Bush, who scored Oxford's goal, was given a miniature of the latter cup as well as his captain."
