Overview

"Peking, Dec.29. [1928]-AB. Lindberg was re-elected captain at a meeting of members of the Peking Interport ice hockey club Friday evening. The meeting was held at the French Club and there was a good attendance. Mr. T.A.B. Cameron, who represented Peking in many interport battles before advancing years compelled his retirement from this seasons winter game two years ago was unanimously chose secretary manager. The meeting also fixed some tentative dates for the interport matches, but they have to be approved by Tientsin before they become official. According to the proposed schedule, the first two games will be played in Peking on January 5 and 6 to be followed by another two games in Tientsin on January 12 and 13. The third week-end of hockey will be held in Peking and the fourth in Tientsin on Jan. 26 and 27. The match for the Wharton Cup, emblematic of hockey supremacy of North China, will be played in Peking on February 3rd, Tientsin defending the trophy."[1]
