This was the 1921 ice hockey season in China:

Overview

"The regular ice-hockey season at the Peking Club began last evening at 7 o'clock, when a mixed match with some of the players of the American Legation Guard took place. At the present time the most promising looking forwards at the Club are J.P. Brown, the captain of the team, and Messrs Bucknell, de Richelieu, Osland-Hill, Cooper and E. Thunder."[1]

  • 1/23: Tientsin IHC - Peking International Club 8:0 @ Tientsin[5]

Tientsin roster: Limberg, Clark, Boos, Mackay, Fingereth, Manley, Bridge. Peking roster: Tonkin, Gillard, Strangman, Kuanff, Cameron Jr., Cameron Sr., Cooke.

  • 2/6: Tientsin IHC - Peking IHC 5:3 (1:0, 1:0, 1:3, 2:0) @ Peking - Tientsin won Wharton Cup for second straight year, earning it permanently[6]

Tientsin roster: Bridge (RW), Manley (center), Clarke (LW), Mackay (rover), Boos (cover), Grimes (point), Rasmussen (goal). Peking roster: O’Brien (RW), Lieut. Brown (center), Jarka (LW), Knauff (rover), Strangman (cover), Reiss (point), Tonkin (goal).

  • 2/6: Tientsin IHC II - Peking IHC II 6:0 @ Peking - “game was to take the complexion of a junior interport match” - Tientsin II was composed of many of the same players as the first team - “
  • 2/25: Peking American Legation Guard Marines - Tientsin 15th U.S. Infantry 8:0 (2:0, 1:0, 2:0, 3:0) @ Peking[7]
