• 1/17: Sussex - Amherst @ Amherst - Amherst captain John Twaddle was ordered to leave the ice by the official, but refused to go, and instead skated to his position on the ice. The referee then left the ice and awarded the game to Sussex

• Sussex beat Amherst by Forfeit - Amherst refused to play off - there was a major dispute over this, league President W.E. McLeod awarding the championship "to his own team, Sussex"
