- 3/2: Victorias - Wanderers-Stirlings 4:4 OT (3:3 in regulation) - Section A tiebreaker - there was a dispute as an Arena employee rang the gong at 11PM, signaling it was time for the teams to leave the ice, when the Victorias were ahead 4:3, however the last 6 minutes were played, and the Victorias claimed the ringing of the gong stopped the play, while the Wanderers contention that the timekeepers were the only ones with the right to stop the game by the ringing of the gong was upheld by the referee, with the reservation that he would submit the matter to the league for a decision - Several days later, a decision was reached by the league, awarding the game to the Victorias, deciding that the Wanderers tying goal was illegal, as it had been scored after the gong had sounded
