The Hammond Plains Moss Backs issued a challenge to play the Africville Seasides in a Coloured Hockey League game. No records exist of them playing in any games. The Charlottetown West End Rangers also issued a challenge to the Halifax Eurekas and were also in communication with the Amherst Royals about a game.
