"The sub-committee of the Wanderers on Hockey having the subject under consideration, took the initiative in calling a meeting last night of representatives of the following clubs-Wanderers, Dalhousie, Crescents, Chebuctos, and Bankers' Hockey league. Halifax County Hockey League

The Halifax County Hockey League was formed on December 20, 1893. "The sub-committee of the Wanderers on Hockey having the subject under consideration, took the initiative in calling a meeting last night of representatives of the following clubs-Wanderers, Dalhousie, Crescents, Chebuctos, and Bankers' Hockey league. Each of these clubs had representatives present last night. The league was officially constituted, and a sub-committee was appointed to draw up a constitution and to report to a future meeting, when officials will be elected."[29]
