On 3/14 it was reported that No. 6 and No. 11 were tied for first, and that league officials had decided to add three more games to the schedule. Only one of which, between No. 6 and No. 2, was played, and won by the former. No. 6 went on to play for the Cape Breton title, which No. 11 claimed they had no right to do. No. 11 had won the league championship in 1924.
