The [[Singaporean National Team|national team]] made its international debut in 1977, facing [[Malaysian National Team|Malaysia]] twice. Singapore won one game 5-1 and tied the other 3-3. More than 30 years later, Singapore returned to compete in the [[2008 IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia]].
