Münchener Eislauf-Verein von 1883 (shortened to Münchener EV) is an ice sports club in Munich, Germany. The sports club was founded in 1883 while the ice hockey section was created in 1909.

The hockey club's first known game was a 15-6 win over Innsbrucker EV. In 1913, they participated in the German Championship, falling to MTV München 1879 29-0.

After World War I, the club played intermittently in the German Championship during the 1920s and 1930s. They finished as high as third place in 1925 and 1932.

The club played in the Bavarian Championship of the 1947 German Ice Hockey Championship, the first national competition after World War II. In 1948-49, they played in the Kreisliga. After about 1960, Munchener EV became the only team in the city. This helped them secure the Bavarian Championship in 1962-63 and earned them a spot in the Gruppenliga the following year. After winning the Gruppenliga in 1964, Munchener qualified for the 1964-65 Oberliga season.

They played in the Oberliga in 1964-65, finishing in sixth place. In the summer of 1965, there were talks about merging Munchener EV's hockey section with FC Bayern München. They fell through, but on January 7, 1966, EV was replaced in the Oberliga by Bayern. Bayern reached the Eishockey-Bundesliga and played there until 1969, before dissolving.

Munchener EV was then re-founded and were promoted to the Regionalliga from the Bavarian League for 1972-73. They then played in the Regionalliga and the Oberliga (which replaced the Regionalliga as the third-level league in 1973) until 1976. They merged with EHC 70 München in September 1976.
