There was also a summer &quot;Kampfspiele&quot; staged during this period.<br /> <br /> The competition was created after Germany was excluded from the [[Olympic Games]] following the aftermath of [[World War I]]. The games were only open to those part of the &quot;German race&quot;.<br /> <br /> Ice hockey tournaments were staged at all five winter competitions. The [[1934 German Ice Hockey Championship]] was held in conjunction with the fourth Winterkampfspiele.
