This is the 1936-37 season of the [[International Intercollegiate League]].

This was the first year of this league. There were four Canadian teams - [[McGill University]], [[University of Toronto]], [[University of Montreal]], and [[Queens University]] - and four American teams - [[Harvard University]], [[Yale University]], [[Dartmouth University]], and [[Princeton University]].

Each team played home-and-home games against teams from their own country and one game each against teams from the other country. The games within their own country counted for a league championship.

Harvard was the only American team to beat the Canadians - winning against Montreal, Toronto, and Queens.
