This article details women's ice hockey in England and France from 1930 to 1937:

England

The Manchester Ladies' Ice Hockey Club was formed in-mid February 1930, and held their first practice at the Manchester Ice Palace on February 20. On April 29, it was reported that they were sending a team to meet Sussex on the Brighton and Hove rink the following weekend. The Manchester club had 32 members, most of whom were new to the game. The first game of women's ice hockey in England between Manchester and Sussex ended in a 2-2 deadlock.[1] After the game, an organization known as the All England Women's Ice Hockey Association (also referred to as the Ladies' Ice Hockey Association) was formed. The secretaries were Miss R.C. Wilan of Manchester and Miss Hermione Hoare of Brighton.[2] The London Lambs and Queen's Club were formed for the 1930-31 season. The Sheridian Cup was presented to the London Lambs, to be played for by the clubs affiliated to the All-England Women's Ice Hockey Association.
