They beat Walpole KP 8-0, Sudbury (MA) Blue Devils 7-0, Sewell Hurricanes 6-0, and the Stouffville (ON) Clippers 5-0 and 6-4, The Coyotes Squirts beat the Suncoast Scorpions 1-0 in double overtime on Match 12 to capture the SAHOF State Championship at the RDV/Solar Bears Ice Den in Maitland.

Ice Land USA opened in Irmo, South Carolina on February 24, 2001, and the Columbia Jr. Inferno were formed for the 2001-02 season.

The Florida Jr. Everblades Midget Majors beat the Ellenton Eels 9-0 and 4-1 in FYHL play on January 20-21, 2001. On February 17-18, the Everblades tied the Orlando Jr. Solar Bears 1-1, and beat them 4-2. They were 15-4-1 on the season at this point. The Everblades finished second in the FYHL Midget state championship on March 24-25, winning the Southern Division crown with a 4-2 win over the Planet Ice Predators, and a 1-0 victory over the 21-1 Coral Springs Coyotes Black team. In the final, they lost 6-3 to the Tampa Bay Stars.  The Coral Springs Coyotes Black PeeWee team won the FYHL title at the Teco Arena in Fort Meyers. They finished first of 17 teams in the league, with the top four from the North and South divisions meeting in the playoffs. The Coyotes beat the Florida Jr. Everblades 7-1, and the Pembroke Pines Golden Wolves Major 6-3 for the Southern crown, before blasting the Tampa Stars 9-3 for the league title.

The Nashville Bantams won the Southern Youth Hockey Championship with a 14-1-1 record. Second place Huntsville had 13 pts and third place Atlanta had 11. Charlotte was the fourth team in the league.

Roanoke Jr. Lancers Squirts won the Queen City Invitational in Charlotte, NC, played on March 10-11. They beat Charlotte 3-2, Raleigh 3-0, tied Atlanta 1-1, and beat them 4-3 in a shootout in the final. The PeeWee team finished second in their division.

The Nashville PeeWees went 10-7-1 in Southern Youth Hockey League play and qualified for the Southeastern District Championship in Atlanta, failing to advance further. The Mites won the Evansville Invitational Tournament in March. The Squirts captured the fifth annual Music City Invitational at the Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville. They lost to Afton (MO) 3-2, but beat Louisville 3-1, Warwick 4-1, and Afton 1-0 in the final.

1990-91

Horizon Club Cup @ Evansville

Nine teams were set to compete in the senior tournament on March 2-3, 1991. Evansville was slated to play Louisville in their opening game. The University of Illinois went 2-1 in the tournament, beating Southern Illinois University 26-0, Louisville 15-1, and losing 10-5 to Indianapolis in the semifinal.

The Nashville PeeWees won the Southern Youth Hockey League, sweeping second place Atlanta in all six meetings. They beat them 2-1, 3-2, and 7-0 in one series. The Squirts also captured the SYHL title and were 24-0-1 on the season as of 2/6.

The Nashville PeeWees won the Regional Silver Stick Tournament in Huntsville, beating the hosts 4-3, Houston 7-2, Atlanta by forfeit, and Huntsville 2-1 in overtime of the finals. The Mites won the Ramada Classic in Evansville in mid-March, beating Homewood (IL) 3-1 in the championship.

Senior

The Nashville Blades were 4-6 as of January 6, 1993, and competed in the Southern Hockey League with Huntsville, Birmingham, Winston-Salem, Evansville, Atlanta, and Tampa. They had a 4-0 record at home. Outside of league play, they won the 12-team Tri-State Senior Men's Hockey Tournament in Evansvillle. After going 4-0 in their division, they played Huntsville to a 4-4 tie in the final, and won the gold medal as Huntsville had lost a game earlier on.

College

Fort Bragg Dragons were slated to face Georgia Tech on 1/9-10, LaSalle on 1/16-17, Tennessee on 2/13-14, and Virginia Tech on 2/20-21 at Cleland Ice Rink. NC State was set to face Duke on 1/21 and 2/2, North Carolina on 1/25 and 2/4, Old Dominion on 2/6-7, and George Mason on 2/13-14.

Youth

The Memphis Eagles Midget team won the Southeast Regional Silver Stick Tournament in December 1992. Avenging an earlier loss, they beat Huntsville 5-4 in the final. They were set to travel to Sarnia, ON, for the Silver Stick International Championship from January 16-18, 1993. The Charlotte Blades Squirts played in the same tournament, beating Sioux City 5-1 in their final game, after losing the first two by scores of 10-3 and 8-0.

The Carolina Kings, a Squirt team composed of players from Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Raleigh, took part in the Can-Am Challenge Cup in Lake Placid in late March. They beat Willow Grove 8-0, Staten Island 8-0, and Providence 7-0, and lost to Mercer (NJ) 3-0, before defeating Providence 2-1 in overtime in the bronze medal game.

The Greenville Hockey Club began conducting youth hockey clinics in the summer of 1991, and house league competitions going up to U17 were underway by 1993.

The Nashville PeeWees and Bantams won regionals and played in the National Silver Stick Tournament in Port Huron. The PeeWees lost to Todenham (ON) 6-2, Strathroy (ON) 3-1, and a Maryland team 6-2. The Bantams fell to Port Hope 4-1, Dresden 3-1, and Ann Caster 6-0. All three of their opponents were from Ontario. The Bantams won the Southern Youth Hockey League title, going 18-4-2 in league play. At the Southeastern District tournament in Fayetteville, they beat Raleigh 14-3, but lost to eventual champion Montgomery County (MD), before clipping Roanoke 9-7. The Squirts won a tournament in Webster Grove (MO), tying the hosts 2-2, beating Merimac (MO) 5-2, Afton (MO) 8-0, and Webster Grove 3-1 in the final. They also captured the Nashville Youth Hockey League Invitational tournament crown.

Te Atlanta Bantams won the Southeastern District Championship in Mount Vernon, VA, played on March 11-12. They defeated Northern Virginia 9-5, Montgomery County (MD) 4-3 and Nashville 9-4. The PeeWees went 2-1, good for second place, and the Midgets finished 0-3. The Bantams and Midgets were Southern Youth Hockey League champions, with the PeeWees finishind second.

The Nashville South Stars Midgets went 2-1 in the Sunshine and Ice Tournament in Tampa in early January, beating Orlando 7-2 and Raleigh 5-3, before falling 6-0 to the St. David's Celtics from Ottawa, Ontario. The Bantams captured the Springfield (IL) Memorial Classic in February, going 4-0. They defeated Springfield, Champaign, Naperville, and St. Louis Creve Couer 4-2 in the final. The PeeWees won the Silver Stick regional in Huntsville and advanced to the national tournament in Port Huron, where they lost 3-0 to Erie (PA), 5-0 to Petrolia (ON), and 7-1 to Eagonton (ON). They later went 1-2 in the Southeastern District Championship in Northern Virginia, losing to Chesapeake 4-1, Atlanta 2-1, and defeating the hosts 9-2. They went on to capture the local tournament in Nashville, beating Webster Grove 4-1, Kirkwood 5-0, Springfield 3-0, and Kirkwood again 5-0,

In early December, five Tampa Bay Jr. Lightning teams competed in the Silver Stick Tournament in Huntsville. The Bantams had the best record, going 2-1, beating Houston 6-5 and Memphis 7-1, before falling 5-3 to Huntsville. The Bantams had previously taken the title in the Thanksgiving Youth Hockey Tournament in Pompano. They swept their division with four straight wins, beating Orlando 8-0, Sunrise 7-2, and Goldcoast twice, 8-5 and 5-1. In early March, the Squirts beat Pompano Beach 2-1 to win the state title, while the PeeWees fell 3-2 to Orlando in a shootout, and the Bantams lost 10-4 to Pompano. Later in the month (26th-27th), the Squirts won the Southeastern Regional title in Orlando, beating Pompano Beach 2-1, Sarasota 3-2, and Orlando 4-0 and 5-0, The PeeWees and Midgets played in the Southern Regional Tournament at Fort Bragg on March 12-13, both finishing second. The Mites and Squirts finished second and third respectively at the Queen City Tournament in Charlotte on March 19-20.

The Roanoke Midgets won the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League championship. The Knoxville Midgets won the Southeast Championship. The Raleigh Capitals PeeWee team won the Atlantic-Southeast Regional Championship in West Goshen, PA.

The Nashville Bantams won the Southern Youth Hockey League title with a 21-2-1 record and 53 points, ahead of Atlanta's 19-3-2-50 mark. Charlotte and Knoxville games counted for double points. Nashville beat Atlanta 6-2 and 1-0 to seal up first place. They finished second in the Southeastern District Championship, beating Bowie (MD) 3-2, Atlanta 4-1, and falling to the champion Chesapeake Chiefs 5-4. The team then captured the Nashville Invitational Tournament crown, defeating Decatur 5-2, falling to the Afton Americans 6-1, clipping Cahokia (IL) 4-1, and exacting revenge on Afton in the final, 3-1.

In mid-November the Tampa Bay Stars PeeWees remained undefeated the Florida Youth Hockey League, with two recent wins over Sunrise (4-1 and 6-5).

The Charlotte Lightning Bantams played in the Christmas Extravaganza Tournament in Pittsburgh, taking second place. On March 9, the Hampton Roads Jr. Admirals Bantam team defeated the New Castle Hawks (DE) 3-2 to win the Capital Beltway Hockey League Campbell Division title.

The Winston-Salem Ice Hawks PeeWee team won a Tier 2 divisional playoff in Frederick (MD), winning two out of three games, only losing to Tampa.

The Georgia Amateur Hockey Association was set to host the Mid-America Regional Championships from March 29-31 at the Atlanta Ice Forum in Duluth. The Atlanta Jr. Knights PeeWee, Bantam, and Midget teams, all Southeastern District champion, were to be included in the tournament.

The Nashville Bantams won the Southern Youth Hockey League with a 22-1-1 record, with Atlanta finishing second. In the Southeastern District Championship at Columbia (MD), they lost to Bowie (MD) 6-3, and beat Tri-City 6-1, and Atlanta 4-2. Bowie beat Tri-City 3-2 to win the title. Atlanta, Bowie, and Nashville all finished 2-1, with Bowie winning the tiebreaker. Earlier in the year they won the Regional Silver Stick Tournament in Huntsville, beating Knoxville 12-0, Tampa 6-2, Charlotte 9-1, and Raleigh 6-0. Raleigh had upset Atlanta 2-1 to qualify for the final. The Squirts went 3-1 in their tournament, losing to Atlanta 4-0 in the final. The PeeWees fell 5-4 in OT to Atlanta in the championship. The Midgets went 2-1, and the Mites 1-2 in their Silver Sticks.

Three Tampa Bay Jr. Lightning teams advanced to the finals of the Florida State Youth Hockey Championship on March 9-10 at Oldsmar. The Squirts beat Orlando 4-2 in the final, finishing their season 27-7-5. The Midgets captured the crown with a 3-2 win over the Sunrise Golden Blades, concluding their year with a 19-7 record.

The Roanoke Bantams and Midgets won Mid-Atlantic titles during a regional tournament in Hillsborough, NC. The Charlotte Lightning Mites beat the Triangle Sharks on March 15 to win the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League tournament. The Lightning Squirts finished second to the Raleigh Jr. Ice Caps.

The Nashville Bantams won the Southeastern District Championship, which they hosted at the Centennial Sportsplex, beating the previously 62-0 Chesapeake Chiefs 5-2 in the championship game after an 11-6 win over West Palm Beach Planet Ice and a 5-3 victory over Atlanta.

The Greenville All-Stars Bantam team won the Queen City Invitational Tournament, played in Charlotte. They were also champions in the Greater Atlanta Hockey Association Tournament. The Greenville Squirts also won an Atlanta tournament with a 4-0 record.

In April the Jr. Monarchs PeeWee team won the Can-Am Challenge Cup at Lake Placid (NY), beating the Long Island Grizzlies 2-0 in the final, capping a 5-0 tournament. They also won gold at the NC State Games in June 1998, going 4-0.

The Atlanta Jr. Knights Midgets won the Southern Youth Hockey League title, the Southeastern District Championship in Washington, and the Mid-America regional tournament near Harrisburg, with a triple overtime victory over a Philadelphia team, earning them a spot in the USA Hockey national tournament.

The Nashville Squirts went 5-0 and won the Regional Silver Stick tournament in Huntsville. They beat Birmingham 2-1 in the final. The Squirts went 0-3 in the International Silver Sticks in Sarnia, ON.

Although occasional activities dated back to 1993, youth hockey in Charleston only became firmly established in 1997-98, with the opening of the Carolina Ice Palace, and the formation of the Lowcountry Hockey Association.

The Orlando Stars won the Mite and Midget divisions of the Sunshine State Games, played at Lakeland on March 21-22. They beat the Venice Vipers 8-1 in the Mite final, and the Pembroke Pines Pythons 4-0 in the Midget final. The Tampa Bay Cyclones won the Bantam crown.

The Winston-Salem Ice Hawks hosted a tournament on April 3-4, 1999. The PeeWee division was won by Hampton Roads, who beat Charleston 2-1 in the final. Hershey defeated Pottstown 4-1 for the Bantam crown, and Allegheny clipped Winston-Salem 3-2 for the Midget title.

The Pee Dee Pride Youth Hockey Association was established in Florence, South Carolina, for the 1998-99 season. It remained active until 2009. A recreational senior league called the Florence Men's Hockey League (later the Pee Dee Hockey League was also contested.

On November 20-21, the Sunrise Sharks and Coral Springs Coyotes Bantams split their weekend series. The teams entered 10-0 and 9-0-1, respectively. The Coyotes won 6-2 in the first game, and the Sharks got revenge with a 4-2 victory in the second. The Florida Jr. Everblades Midgets beat the Orlando Jr. Solar Bears 5-3 on December 5 and tied them 7-7 the next day. Over the thanksgiving weekend, they won the Gold Coast Youth Hockey League Thanksgiving Tournament in Coral Springs, finishing 3-0-1, and beating the International Hockey Institute of Tampa 5-4 in the final. The Pines Ice Penguins also won a division of the tournament, beating the Gold Coast Avalanche, Gold Coast Red Wings, Incredible Ice Canucks, and the Red Wings again, 4-2 in the final. In mid-January the Planet Ice Predators beat the Brandon Bulls 7-2 and Sunrise Sharks 4-1. The Florida Jr. Everblades Midgets (16-7-1) ended their regular season on February 14-15, with 5-2 and 5-3 wins over the Jacksonville Storm. They then went on to beat the Sunrise Sharks 7-0 and the Pembroke Wolves 3-0 in the playoffs for the southern division of the FYHL, and later captured the state title, going 2-1-1 in the tournament at Brandon. The Planet Ice Bantams won their division of the FYHL with a triumph over Coral Springs in the eighth round of a shootout in the final. The tournament was played on February 28 and March 1 in Brandon. The South Florida Wolves won the PeeWee FYHL title, losing to Tampa 4-1, and beating Jacksonville 8-1, and the Coral Springs Coyotes twice.

The Greenville Jr. Grrrowl Midgets won the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League tournament championship, beating Raleigh 4-1, Hillsborough 3-1, and Winston-Salem 4-1.

The Atlanta Fire PeeWees and Bantams won the Southeastern District Championship and advanced to play in the USA Hockey nationals. The PeeWees finished second in the nationals, played in Oswego, NY. They went undefeated in the round-robin by a combined score of 18-5 against teams from California, Alaska, and New Hampshire, defeated Toledo 3-2 in overtime in elimination play, a New Jersey team 1-0 in triple OT in the semifinal, before losing 9-0 to a Michigan team in the final. The PeeWees were also Southern Youth Hockey League champions. In the national tournament, played in Marquette, the Bantams lost 3-2 to both the Bismarck Nationals and Warwick, beat the Mountainview Mavericks (WA) 6-1, and lost to the Littleton Hawks (CO) 2-1 in quarterfinal action.

The Tampa Bay Stars Bantam and Mite teams won the Florida Youth Hockey League state championships in Oldsmar in mid-March. The Mites beat the Orlando Solar Bears 6-2 in the final, and the Bantams triumphed over the Gold Coast Panthers, 4-2. The Coral Springs Coyotes won the FYHL PeeWee AA division, before competing in the Can/Am Challenge Cup in Montreal from March 3-5. They beat Walpole KP 8-0, Sudbury (MA) Blue Devils 7-0, Sewell Hurricanes 6-0, and the Stouffville (ON) Clippers 5-0 and 6-4, The Coyotes Squirts beat the Suncoast Scorpions 1-0 in double overtime on Match 12 to capture the SAHOF State Championship at the RDV/Solar Bears Ice Den in Maitland.

Peninsula Prowl Midgets won the Breakaway at the Beach Tournament, played in Virginia Beach from April 6-8, 2001. They beat the Hampton Roads Jr. Admirals 7-1, Prince William Patriots 5-2, Cumberland Flames (PA) 9-1, Central Bucks East Patriots 3-0, and the latter again in the final, 5-2.

Ice Land USA opened in Irmo, South Carolina on February 24, 2001, and the Columbia Jr. Inferno were formed for the 2001-02 season.

The Florida Jr. Everblades Midget Majors beat the Ellenton Eels 9-0 and 4-1 in FYHL play on January 20-21, 2001. On February 17-18, the Everblades tied the Orlando Jr. Solar Bears 1-1, and beat them 4-2. They were 15-4-1 on the season at this point. The Everblades finished second in the FYHL Midget state championship on March 24-25, winning the Southern Division crown with a 4-2 win over the Planet Ice Predators, and a 1-0 victory over the 21-1 Coral Springs Coyotes Black team. In the final, they lost 6-3 to the Tampa Bay Stars. The Coral Springs Coyotes Black PeeWee team won the FYHL title at the Teco Arena in Fort Meyers. They finished first of 17 teams in the league, with the top four from the North and South divisions meeting in the playoffs. The Coyotes beat the Florida Jr. Everblades 7-1, and the Pembroke Pines Golden Wolves Major 6-3 for the Southern crown, before blasting the Tampa Stars 9-3 for the league title.
