History of hockey in Pakistan

An official IIHF news release from 2005 stated that "Pakistan also applied for a membership but the congress decided to postpone the application until the ice hockey program in the country will have a better structure."

There is an ice rink located at the multi-sport facility, known colloquially as the Arena, in Karachi.
