The Hillsdale Chargers were a men's ice hockey team representing Hillsdale, College in Hillsdale, Michigan. The team was a member of the Mid-Central Collegiate Hockey Association in 1977-78, and previously the Mid-West Collegiate Hockey Association. The team was in existence as a varsity squad from the 1969-70 season to the 1977-78 season, having previously competed at the club level from 1963-1969.

Hillsdale finished second with a record of 14-6. Cincinnati finished last at 5-14 (9-18 overall).

Miami, Hillsdale, Eastern Michigan, and Kent State were set to compete in the league tournament on March 10-11. Miami won both the regular season and playoff crowns, finishing 16-4 in the regular season, and 23-8 overall.
