The ice hockey team of Glasgow University, based in Glasgow, Scotland, was a founding member of the Scottish League in 1929. They played at Crossmyloof Ice Rink.

At first, all players on the team were required to have some affiliation to the university, either as students, faculty, or alumni. This stipulation was relaxed in the later years of the club's existence, as it began admitting unaffiliated players.

The club absorbed the Glasgow Skating Club in 1932, a move which in reality was a takeover of the team.

Glasgow University was not particularly successful in the Scottish League, never finishing higher than fourth place. They did reach the finals of the Mitchell Trophy in 1934 and 1935. After the 1935-36 season, the club folded.
