Hockey Club Galkan (Russian: Галкан, English: Shield), is a Turkmenian professional ice hockey team based in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is under the command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.[2]
The club won the inaugural Turkmenistan Championship in 2014[3] and repeated as champions the following year. They also became the first winner of the Hockey Cup of the Turkmenistan Ministry of the Interior (2013).[4]
