Eintracht Frankfurt is a hockey team in Frankfurt, Germany. It currently plays in the local Regionalliga.

The team was originally founded in 1959 and started play on an icy tennis court. In the next season it played in a proper arena and attracted a crowd of over 10,000.

Eitracht made it all the way to the Eishockey-Bundesliga in 1968-69 but did not last very long. Poor attendance forced the team to sell its licence in 1977.

With a brand new rink in 1981 the team got another chance at the Bundesliga and enjoyed a fairly successful decade. However over spending and financial problems forced the the team to disband in 1991.

It was ressurected in 2002 but has firmly remained in the Regionalliga, avoiding the previous problems.
