The 2008-09 British Knockout Cup was the fourth and final edition of the single-elimination tournament contested by the Elite Ice Hockey League teams. It was won by the Belfast Giants.

Belfast Giants - Coventry Blaze 10:3 on aggregate (5:1, 5:2)
Cardiff Devils - Basingstoke Bison 17:1 on aggregate (8:0, 9:1)
Manchester Phoenix - Hull Stingrays 8:3 on aggregate (4:0, 4:3)

Semifinals

Newcastle Vipers - Manchester Phoenix 5:9 on aggregate (1:4, 4:5)
Belfast Giants - Cardiff Devils 7:4 on aggregate (3:3, 4:1)

Final

Manchester Phoenix - Belfast Giants 5:7 on aggregate (3:3, 2:4)
