The 1955-56 Moscow Region Championship was won by Klin. They finished ahead of Khimki and Lyubertsy.

The result from one preliminary round match is known: January 31, Karl Marx-2 Elektrostal - Spartacus Noginsk 10:2.

In the Moscow Cup, Torpedo defeated Klin 4:1 on March 3.
