Alaska-Fairbanks: "The University team played its first games since the 1943 season in a league with Eielson, Fairbanks, and Ladd earning a single 2-1 win over Eielson. Charlie Parker and Joe Riendl were the team's leading scorers. Parker, Benedictus, and Rye all returned to action for the university team after service in the military during World War II."
