The 1939-40 Swiss National Tournament was contested by four teams and won by HC Davos. The Nationalliga A was not contested this year as the Swiss Army was mobilizing after the outbreak of World War II.
Instead, a small tournament was arranged involving four of the top Swiss club teams. EHC St. Moritz did not participate in the tournament.
