Overview

Lechia and Czarni Lwów in action.

On January 25, 1925, Lechia Lwów and Czarni Lwów faced each other in a match, won by Lechia 2-1. As witnessed by the media, the level of play by the teams was extremely primitive.

It was reported that the following teams were preparing to compete in the Warsaw Championship: Polonia, AZS, WTL, WTC, Warszawianka, and Sżkoly Podchorazych.[1] On the request of the organizing committee of the Polish Ice Hockey Federation, WTL Warszawa organized the competition. The championship was scheduled to be played on February 1, 1925. Polonia Warszawa and WTL Warszawa were set to meet in the qualifier, with the winner facing AZS Warszawa in the final.[2]

The Warsaw Championship could not be played on February 1 due to thaw.[3] It was planned to reschedule it for another date, but this did not materialize.
