The 1892-93 MHA season was the first season of play under the jurisdiction of the Manitoba Hockey Association. The Winnipeg Victorias won the championship.

Playoff series for gold pins (Best of 3)

  • 3/7/93: Victorias - Winnipegs 5:4
  • 3/9/93: Winnipegs - Victorias 2:1
  • 3/12/93: Victorias - Winnipegs 4:1 (Game was protested by Winnipegs and replayed)[1]
  • 3/15/93: Winnipegs - Victorias 5:3 (Winnipegs won the championship of Manitoba, though Victorias are still considered league champions for this season)[2]

Notes

The season was interrupted when Winnipeg decided to send a team on a tour of the Eastern provinces. Upon returning, the Granite Curling Club donated gold medals for a best of three series between the Victorias and Winnipegs for the championship of Manitoba.
