HC Bragadiru Bucharest
HC Bragadiru Bucharest was an ice hockey team based in Bucharest, Romania. The club was founded in 1935 and took its name from a brewery that served as its sponsor. It picked up the former players of the dissolved Tenis Club Roman Bucharest.
Bragadiru finished second in the Bucharest Championship in 1935-36 and qualified for the national Romanian Championship. They upset Telefon Club Bucharest 2-0 in the semifinals and claimed the national title with a 3-2 victory over Dragos Voda Cernauti.
The club was in a three-way tie on top of the standings in 1936-37, but were relegated to third place overall due to an inferior goal differential.
After only two years in existence, the club was dissolved. Its sponsor was disappointed by the previous season's outcome and by the penalties levied against two of its players, Iulius Rabinovici and Gheorghe Buia, who were suspended for life and one year, respectively, for their actions while playing on the Romanian National Team at the 1937 World Ice Hockey Championships.
