Gruner IL is an ice hockey team in Oslo, Norway. It currently plays in the Norwegian 1.Division, the second tier of Norwegian hockey. The club's home arena is the Grünerhallen.
It was founded on 14 October 1952 as a merger of the teams Strong, B14 and Spero, but it counts 1914, founding date of B14, as its own founding date. After merging with Hugin in 1969 it held the name Grüner/Hugin, but reverted to Grüner IL in 1974.
They played in the top-level of Norwegian hockey (then known as the 1. divisjon intermittently between 1952 and 1977.
